Wild Heart is a woman owned small business offering educational and community services for grief and loss, spiritual development, and reclaiming our everyday lives as sacred. Founded in 2023 by best-selling author and international teacher Mirabai Starr and interspiritual practitioner, facilitator and artist Willow Brook, Wild Heart offers a tender refuge and a guiding hand as you courageously engage in dismantling false belief structures and embrace a more conscious life, expanding your capacity to be transformed by the inevitable losses life brings.

 

We are hiring a private contractor Social Media Manager & Asset Designer who is a compassionate and clear communicator, creative, focused, energetic, helpful, organized, and efficient confident problem solver with a sincere interest in self development and spirituality who finds the sacred in assistant tasks.

 

 

 

Job Tasks

  • Design graphics and media for online courses in sync with current branding
  • Shape social media campaigns using current content and weaving a natural flow
  • Video editing for reel creation
  • Occasional website updates to match assets and aesthetic
  • Social media cross posting and corespondance with Mirabai Starr author page for upcoming book campaign
  • Other duties as discussed

 

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in design and social media management 
  • Independent contractor worker with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage work schedule and meet deadlines with minimum supervision
  • Fast learner who is exceptionally detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Team player who is flexible and understanding of the ever-changing environment of a small business
  • Positive, can-do person who is naturally kind and helpful in interactions with others
  • Excellent, professional-quality writing skills (succinct, effective and grammatically correct)
  • Experience providing customer service, especially in written form
  • Ability to anticipate needs of team and organization, and meet them in advance
  • Personal commitment to helping create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive culture
  • General understanding of, and genuine interest in, Wild Heart and Mirabai Starr’s central teaching topics, including grief and loss, interspirituality, feminine empowerment and contemporary mysticism
  • Proficiency with Canva, Kajabi, Facebook and Instagram

  • Creative thinker who genuinely enjoys using social media to share important ideas and inspire others

  • Skillful tending to grief and loss with a comfort to communicate with people who are grieving in a virtual space
  • Deep devotion to the sacred in every task 
  • Sincere dedication to social equity and collective liberation

 

 

 

$20-24/hour based on experience

up to 30 hours/month
